The hotel website makes no mention that their restaurant has been closed since Covid-19. So, no status breakfast benefit; the only compensation is 1,000 Hyatt points per day. The coffee service in the room is no replacement for a fresh brewed cup with real half and half as it features powdered non-dairy products. I did have an upgraded suite with mountain view. The room was very spacious and clean, with a separate room with a tv, window, and couch that folded out into a bed. The room had a refrigerator, Keurig, and Hyatt now offers reusable water bottles and has a filling station / ice maker on each floor to encourage reuse. The front desk was very friendly. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. The pool area is showing wear and tear -- cushions with rips and speakers that were covered in rust. Not much to look at -- the landscaping was pretty rough looking. The pool is really a large hot tub that spills into a shallow area with chairs, and then on into a splash area for kids. For nearly $300 per night, there are better options.

Room had lots of dust. You can especially see it on top of the mirror. Worse was we go out for the day and our room is not cleaned. We had to request room cleaning every day. Location was good.

Pros:The staff was friendly and very helpful. They truly accentuated the Aloha spirit. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located in Waikiki near the new International Marketplace with lots of restaurants and shopping to choose from.
Cons:The pool is 18” deep. So it’s not meant for swimming.

Pros:Beautiful room! I recieved an upgrade to the penthouse and the views were amazing! Also the bartender is really great!
Cons:The power went out during our first night there. We actually got stuck on the elevator. A day later a fire alarm went off.

Cons:Didn't realize the price of the breakfast buffet was a bit high, in my opinion. It was an ok buffet. That's about it really.
