- Many of the main historical tourist attractions in Jersey, like its old castle fortresses, are located along its coast, so consider staying in one of the main coastal towns like St. Helier, St Aubin and St. Brelade.

Can I stay near the nature reserves in Jersey?
The largest nature reserve in Jersey is Les Mielles Nature Reserve on the west coast of the island. It stretches all the way from La Pulente at the southwestern tip of the island to L’Etaq in the northwest. You can stay in any of the towns on the Grande Route des Mielles that runs north to south along the coast. Otherwise, St. Ouen is situated just outside the northeast edge of the nature reserve.
Where are the best hotels to be close to the big annual events in Jersey?
Choose a hotel in the town that’s closest to the event you want to attend. The main events in Jersey are held in August. There’s Surf Fest in St. Ouen, and here you can book at Apartments La Rocco, right on the bay. The Out There Festival is another very popular event, held at the Val de la Mare lake and reservoir.
