10.0 Wonderful
Pros:The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, not too hard, not too soft. The AC worked great! Check in & out was simple and easy. Super close to downtown, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and a 15 minute drive to Whiskeytown Lake where we spent a majority of our time!
Cons:I really can't think of anything that could've been better. I was pretty impressed with it all.

Pros:Cheap, cheap, cheap. Great location. Food all around. Center of town.
Cons:Center of town comes with people. All night long on the weekends. Dinner and drinks right next store and everyone parking in the lodges spots. Had to park on the street over a block away. Rooms were redone not too long ago but the work was very poorly done and wearing. Bed was not the greatest. Cheap though.

Cons:WORST WORST WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ... be fore i book in this place i read the reviews and looked good while some of the reviews were pointing about the dangerous location. First night i park my car right in front of my room. Next day my car was broken into , a lot of things got stolen. If u plan to go to this horrible hotel plan to go without car or plan to let your car without any valuable (everything in my car was hidden). The worst part is when i went complain in the morning the owner was acting like something very normal and he was saying that it s more common in the other hotel (that s not professional to promote your bad hotel by saying bullshit about the others) While i was in redding to go see the nature the water falls i did not want waste my time calling 911 and doing the police report that will make me waste a lot of time. Guys just to let you know in case something wrong will happen this place they will not care about you and they will not stand by your side. A lot of drug users walk by the hotel 24/7 . I was going to the pool at 4pm i found 2 people using drugs next to the ice machine and using the same ice as the costumer of the hotel. Nobody care during the day as during the night . They only care for the money you gonna spend you get stolen you are unhappy it is not there business. I will go back to Redding for sure but THUNDERBIRD never more.

Pros:Newer shower, flat screens, still some old charm.
Cons:If they stick you in the 300 building, it shares a parking lot with a Mexican restaurant who's dumpster's are in the alley right behind you. On the night we stayed, the trash company came to pick them up and drop them a few times starting at 5am. Would've been nice to have been told that this might have been a possibility instead of being jolted like there was a battering ram coming through the wall. You can hear big rigs moving through the area all night.

Pros:Stayed here before, it's ok, not a five star hotel, but it's good enough. Location is nice, it's downtown, close to food and shopping.
Cons:Can get a bit noisy with the traffic. Parking is not ideal, too small, not enough spaces.
