Pros:It was clean and didn't smell like dirty people. From the outside it didn't look amazing and got a little concerned because how cheap the price was. But, it was cleaner than hotels I've paid more than twice as much to stay in.
Cons:House keeping knocking on the door early in the morning. I hate when hotels do that. Guests should never be bothered. They put it in their system when guests check out. That should be their method of checking.
Pros:The reviews on this website were misleading. The breakfast was weak. Eggs were over reconstituted, The gravy for biscuits and gravy were very runny. The o.j. machine overflowed with excess juice. If your room faces west, you are going to hear a train horn during your stay(nothing anyone can do about this but informative). The beds are flat and institutional. The room was very musty, humid and some areas were not cleaned well. The staff was courteous. This was a one and done for me in Cedar Rapids. ***Styrofoam cups and plate are used***
Cons:I would change the cups and plates to something more environmentally conscientious. Styrofoam is a cheap, dangerous product. I would put a little more thought into breakfast. Have bananas.
Pros:I stayed with Baymont for budgetary reasons, and being nearly $60 cheaper than their neighbors, they met and exceeded this expectation.
Cons:My reservation wasn't found upon check-in despite confirmation from the booking site. The bed comforter had holes. The shower water pressure was weak and had only five minutes of hot water. The room thermostat was quite erratic, fluxuating between freezing and boiling throught a single night.
