Cons:
The car provided to me was filthy. I could barely see through the smeared windshield, and there wasn't a drop of washer fluid. Worse, there was a terrible scraping sound that Hertz must have known about. This car should not have been rented to anyone, certainly not at the high price that I paid. It was the worst rental car experience I have ever had.8.0 Very good

Cons:
When I picked up the car, I was told that the gas tank was full. When I got on the road, I realized that the tank was only 1/4 full. The vehicle also reeked of cigarette smoke to the point that we had to get air fresheners and all had a massive headache. The car was not clean on the outside. Inside was fine. We also had to put air in one of the tires three different times during our trip. This was not a good car rental experience.Budget

Easy pick up and drop off. The car swap was pretty smooth.Cons:
Flat tire half way through the trip. No damage to the tire it just went flat somehow so that added about 3 hours to the trip. Road side assistance took two hours to get to us when it was estimated to be a little less than an hour (he changed it very quickly though and was very nice).2.0 Poor

The car had an overwhelming smokers smell. It was intense. Especially in the heat. It was horrible. Also the car's touch screen (which basically controls everything) didn't work well. It routinely would freeze and we'd have to restart the car to get it to work again.Thrifty

Pickup took 45 minutes to get a car. I realize we are under a pandemic though. There was really only one guy checking people in and checking the cars in, so he was doing the best he could. Dropping the car off was so much easier. They had streamlined their process. It took 5 minutes.10.0 Wonderful
