I had an excellent stay at the Laylow. It has a great location, has been renovated, and has a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. I got coffee there a few mornings and had some great meals at the restaurant. Thank you!

The Laylow Hotel (Marriott Brand) is a hidden gem in Honolulu. It’s a stones throw to great restaurants and shopping and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff there are awesome . This is likely because their Assistant General Manager - Ben - spends time in each Department. I saw him at the front desk, the valet, and by the pool. I’m sure he probably spent time in the restaurant as well. He appears to be an active wonderful leader which likely trickles down to his staff being awesome too. We would definitely stay again! Cons:The vent had an issue, it made a clicking noises all night. Thermostat also doesn't work well. Overall, I didn't have a restful stay this time due to the noisy vent.

Pros:Love the location and rooms are clean and staff was great! Totally recommend to all travellers heading to Waikiki.

Pros:The room was very nice after we requested to move from one which was near the elevator on the 3rd floor with absolutely NO view to one on a higher level with a better view and larger room. The bathroom, although small for a suite, was above average and stocked with ample amount of towels. I enjoyed the large screen smart tv in room.
Cons:The check in was awkward and the staff did not greet right away. Also the housekeeping staff is not as friendly as other hotels I have stayed at. Lastly when the bellman brought down our belongings we noticed they were unattended near the check in desk where anybody could’ve easily taken something.
