Cons:Staff were not helpful and rude, room was not as nice as the pictures online, had a lot of problems with room keys not working

Pros:Gary J at the front desk was amazing. He greeted me and remembered I had a package waiting. He remember ed it was Birthday every morning and evening when he saw us in the lobby. He really made us feel welcome. In a huge hotel with hundreds of guests, I felt like we were staying in a small bed and breakfast. His customer service is top notch.

Cons:We paid extra for the pool and balcony. The pool was under construction. There was a 1/4 inch of dust on the balcony. Totally unusable. Waste of money and no apologies. Check in staff, Greg or George, large African American man was rude, assuming, autentacuous, and condescending. Not helpful. Rather treated a 50 year old mother and my 24 year old daughter as children. Mandatory $30 valet parking. No mention of that at booking. No free breakfast like other Courtyards. Ended up costing may more than if we had stayed at Hi,ton Garden inn or Marriott. I will NEVER go back to this hotel. My daughter is entering a doctorate program at Vandy for the next 5 years. I will be making several visits a year and other family as well. We will STAY AWAY from the Courtyard by Marriott. I suggest you do too!

Pros:We loved the staff. They were so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice. Kids enjoyed the roof top experience. Loved the shuttle service. It was easy to use and readily available for our stay.
Cons:Did not like to pay to park and would have liked to have breakfast included for the price we paid. Cost was pretty steep considering nothing big seemed to be going on while we were there. We normally pay a lot less and get breakfast included.

Pros:Short, free shuttle ride to Broadway.. Far enough from the action that you get a decent room rate and still close enough that a cab won't cost an arm and a leg.
Cons:Shuttle stops at 11pm.

Pros:Staff was personable, helpful and responsive. Recently remodeled, everything looked clean and new. From housekeeping to bellman to valet, everyone was smiling, had a great attitude and seemed to sincerely enjoy their jobs. Convenient to downtown tourist area. A shuttle available to transport. Several good restaurants within a block of the hotel.
Cons:The cost of $20/night for parking seemed high to me.

Pros:Entire staff we interacted with were very friendly, always helpful. Location was great....free shuttle to downtown was perfect, walking distance to some great dining, bars, Vanderbilt and Centennial Park.
