So much to say.... Overall, this hotel was presented as a luxury stay that was not. We paid almost $1,000 for two nights which created a level of expectations that were not met. The hotel had an overall clean look to it and the staff were very nice. However, if you are looking for 4 or 5 star experience, this is not the place to stay. It has a Holiday Inn or low-rated Hilton feel to it. The rooms were aged and unattended to from a design perspective with old and dusty chairs. They felt dark and stuffy. The windows did not open which made it all worse and you could smell the bacon cooking in the kitchen! ugh.. The shower head did not work, the towels were not soft and were over-used for way too long, there were no health and hygiene products made available in the bathroom, and cleaning service was not provided nor offered during our two day stay. oh...and we were disappointed that the rooftop was not open at all even though it was really beautiful outside. Anyways...just my two cents. We love Richmond...and next time we go, we will stay at a chain hotel like Westin!

Pros:Overall nice hotel with a very convenient location. The hotel has been open for a couple of months but is still working lots of kinks, such as rooftop bar and pool not open, disorganized front desk, elevators not working properly, coffee shop lacking essentials. They even only have one wine opener for the entire place. These inconveniences were almost comical, but I hope the hotel will have it's act together soon.
