While this company claims to be at the Sydney International Airport, they are not actually at the airport, they're off site & have no rental desk, representative or courtesy phone at airport. While booking, this company's location is represented as "Sydney International Airport" with an address following it. It turns out if you search the address, that address is not at Sydney International Airport, despite claiming that it is. Instead, when you arrive and are told by all the other car rental places that they are off site and you have to call them, you have to use your own phone (an international call if you not from AUS) to request a shuttle be dispatched. After calling for a shuttle, the company sent ours to the wrong terminal even though we had provided our flight info when we booked the car rental. After waiting nearly 40 mins with an exhausted two year old & having to make a second international phone call to ask what was going on, the company blamed us for their mistake & insisted that we gave them the wrong terminal information (in reality they never asked what terminal we were at and assumed we were at the international terminal). They then insisted that I was supposed to call 24 hours ahead of time to schedule the shuttle (the instructions provided by them, in contrast, state nothing of the sort, only "For detailed pick-up instructions, please call [...] at least 24 hours before your pick-up time. Please go to: Priority Pickup Area / Rideshare Area. A shuttle will take you to the rental counter."). They disliked that I refused to accept responsibility for their mistake, that I pointed out that their instructions said nothing about being required to book a shuttle in advance while quoting what it actually said, and that in the process of disputing their accusations and complaining about the disaster that is their pickup process I swore on the phone. Their response was to threaten to not give us the car we had pre-paid for. The shuttle driver was appalled by how we had been treated and told us to ask to speak to a manager and report the behavior. At the off site location, the company representative insisted that he was the manager of the company and there was no one else in the company I could speak to in order to file a complaint and then claimed that I had broken a law, so he was within his right to not rent me the car I had already paid for. When I pressed them about what law I had broken, he then claimed it was actually an internal company policy that, as best he could describe to me, no one could ever actually know about or have been able to read ahead of time (& he couldn't produce it for me either). Finally another employee attempted to smooth things over by suggesting that it was a misunderstanding caused by poor communication by the third party booking service used (also not my problem and a reflection of their arrangement with these companies), and they finally gave us the car we had reserved and paid for. This was by far the least professional rental car company I've ever used and can not believe they treat their customers this way.

Just be clear, Simba is not fully blamed but QEEQ is definitely the worst. Horrible customer service and definitely no return business for sure. Amazingly embarrassing and waste of my time.
